I knew from the moment Maria & Garrison booked me as their photographer that their wedding was going to be absolutely gorgeous, and boy was I right! This wedding was one for the books. Stunning details, amazing friends & family, but more importantly, a beautiful love between these two! I grew up in the same neighborhood with Maria and her family so it was wonderful seeing so may familiar faces and being welcomed like I was family!
I’m not lying when I say they probably had the nicest weather of the year for their Memorial Day weekend wedding which made for some of my favorite bride & groom portraits to date (but let’s ignore the fact that we all didn’t think it all through when going to a state park on a holiday weekend and trying to avoid the crowds of people who were walking through our portrait time). We made the best of it and were all champs at making it look like we had the park all to ourselves!
As far as emotions for the day, oh my goodness. So many happy tears from the happy couple and lots of the amazing bridesmaids (also some from me, I admit). Maria is an RN and the moment she opened her engraved stethoscope from Garrison, the girls were passing around the tissue boxes!
Such a special day for a truly amazing couple. I feel so honored to have been there to witness it and capture it for you two! Enjoy and may God bless this beautiful new chapter in your lives!
