The weather predictions called for high chances of rain and storms, but once again, luck was on our side because Zach and Kayla had the absolute most perfect fall-like weather for their Labor Day weekend wedding!

We started the day at Zach and Kayla’s home where Kayla and her beautiful girls were getting ready. Kayla in a robe made from her mom’s wedding dress which was so incredibly special to see. Their sweet dog, Cedar, made sure we didn’t mess with her mom’s gorgeous dress while taking dress photos. She stood watch to ensure we handled it with care! 😉

From the emotional ceremony to the party at the reception, everything was so. dang. perfect. What an honor it was to capture these special photos for this even more special couple. Since the moment I met them at their engagement session over a year ago, they’ve treated me like a friend I’ve known for years which makes a photographer’s job so much easier and makes it such a special experience. I’m so glad that our paths crossed and Jenny and I were able to be a part of the biggest day of their lives. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. B!
